Introduction
Hey everyone this is Erin for those that dont know I am the daughter. My dad is in stable condition but it was not easy getting there. He has had 2 surgerys on saturday he had the surgery to fix the aortic tear in the heart and the other surgery was for his femur. He is recovering from both very well. He just recently opened his eyes a little bit yesterday, March 17th, 2009. He is still in the SICU but he should be out pretty soon were hoping. | My dad is doing soo much better he has pnomina( if thats how to spell it) but the nurses say that it is common with the situation that he is in. He is more responsive and looking around more. He gets easily aggitated to be expected also. He is still on the beathing machine hopefully he will be off of it soon tho. They are doing the "wing" process now. If he passes that then they will take him off and then its just getting the infection out... but other then that he is doing way better!! |
